Day 7: The obedience of Bernadette

Day 7 attends to Saint Bernadette Soubirous and her witness of obedience.

Bernadette's witness

Bernadette obeyed the Lady in everything: in returning to the grotto despite ridicule, in digging at the spring, in carrying the message to the parish priest. The Catholic life requires obedience to the same simple movements of grace.

Prayer

Saint Bernadette, intercede for me as you obeyed the Lady, that I may obey her in turn. Amen.
