The seventh day addresses Mary as Help of Christians (Auxilium Christianorum).

Mary, Help of Christians

The title Auxilium Christianorum was added to the Litany of Loreto by Pope Saint Pius V after the victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, which the pope attributed to Marian intercession. The Catholic tradition has invoked Mary under this title ever since for help in the great trials of the Church and of individual Catholics.

Prayer

Mary, Help of Christians, come to the aid of the Church in this age. Defend us from confusion, from worldliness, from the loss of faith. Help me, your child, when I am in need. Amen.
