Day 5: Intercession for difficult marriages

The fifth day attends to Saint Anne's intercession for marriages, particularly those facing difficulty.

Marriage under strain

The Catholic tradition has invoked Saint Anne for marriages that face infertility, miscommunication, financial pressure, or the prospect of divorce. Her own long marriage with Joachim is the model: faithful, patient, and finally fruitful.

Prayer

Saint Anne, intercede for marriages that suffer. Sustain husbands and wives in the difficult passages. Where reconciliation is possible, accomplish it. Amen.
