Day 2: Marriage and consecration

Day 2 attends to Cecilia's marriage to Valerian and her private vow of virginity.

Vocation within marriage

Cecilia had taken a vow of virginity before her parents arranged her marriage. On the wedding night she told Valerian of the vow; he agreed and was converted to the Catholic faith.

Prayer

Saint Cecilia, intercede for spouses today who seek to live faithfully their Catholic vocation. Amen.
