Day 4: Loss of children

Day 4 attends to Rita's loss of her two sons to illness within a year of their father's death.

The unbearable

Rita's two sons, having sworn vengeance for their father, fell ill within a year. They died young, before they could carry out the feud. Rita's grief was profound.

Prayer

Saint Rita, intercede for parents who have lost children. Be present to them in the grief no other person can fully understand. Amen.
